What's involved
Every exterior paint job starts with a clean surface — for most Wellington homes that's a water-blast. We run at 1200-1500 PSI for weatherboard prep, higher for concrete and brick.
Pressure and angle matter more than people think. Domestic blasters at 2000+ PSI held square-on drive water through weatherboard overlaps into wall cavities. We use 45° angled passes at 300-400mm distance, then leave 24-48 hours for the timber to dry before any primer.
