Full interior repaint on a 1908 villa, including matching the original ceiling rose detail and pressed-tin frieze profiles.
1908 villa, original interior detailing largely intact. Owners wanted a refresh without losing any of the original character.
Worked with a heritage colour consultant on the palette — mostly Resene Quarter Spanish White on walls, full-strength on detailing, with the ceiling rose and frieze in a contrasting Resene Half Tea. Pressed-tin frieze took two days alone, brush-applied so the profile detail stayed crisp.
Owners reported a Real Estate Institute valuation lift of $40k post-paint. Not the reason for the job, but a nice side-effect.
