Heritage brick warehouse converted to office tenancies. 1,200m² of exposed-brick clear-coat plus painted ceiling and exposed services.
Late-1920s brick warehouse on Cuba Street, mid-conversion to a single-tenant office. Architect spec was to leave the brick exposed but sealed, paint the underside of the timber-and-steel ceiling structure white, and colour-code the exposed services.
Brick: Resene Sureseal then Resene Aquaclear matte finish, applied by airless spray at low pressure. Took four days of brick prep alone — pointing repairs, lime-wash removal, vacuum dust-off.
Ceiling: Resene SpaceCote Flat in Black White, sprayed via boom lift. Services colour-coded per the architect's drawing — Resene Pohutukawa for fire mains, Resene Apex Lustre for the timber bowstring trusses.
Three weeks on site, two painters plus spray operator. Project value $42,000 excl. GST.
