1903 villa on a south-east-facing site above Onslow Road. Six previous paint cycles since 1980, the most recent over un-stripped lead-paint that had started to release on the south face.
Class II lead controls across the affected scope. South elevation stripped to bare timber, primed with Resene Quick Dry, then two coats of X-200 in Resene Eighth Spanish White. Other elevations sand-and-coat. Sash windows removed in pairs, glazing tape replaced, brush-finished in Aquanamel.
Six weeks on site with three painters. Heritage colour consultant on the palette. Twelve-year manufacturer warranty, seven-year workmanship.
