Island Bay Football Club needed its ageing pitch lighting brought up to a standard that supports winter evening training and weekend night matches. The existing metal-halide floods were patchy, slow to warm up, and expensive to run.
The upgrade replaces the old fittings with LED flood towers positioned for even coverage across both the training and match pitches. LED draws far less power, switches on instantly, and holds consistent light levels right to the end of the playing surface.
Work was scheduled around the club's fixtures so training nights were never interrupted, with each tower commissioned and tested before the next went live.
